Privacy statement

Beamcore takes your privacy seriously. Below you can read which data we process, why we do so and which rights you have.

Which data we collect

When you use Beamcore we process three types of data. Account data such as your name, email address, company name and login credentials. Project data that you enter into the platform yourself, such as quotes, calculations, clients and construction projects. And usage data such as login events, IP address and log files that arise when you use the platform.

What we use your data for

  • To create your account and deliver the service.
  • To support you with questions and issues.
  • To keep the platform secure, stable and reliable.
  • To improve the service based on anonymised usage.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of the performance of the agreement we enter into with you, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to deliver, secure and improve the service.

Hosting within the EU

Your data is stored and processed on servers within the European Union, in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). We do not transfer your data outside the EU.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you have an active account. After the agreement ends we delete your data within a reasonable period, unless we are legally required to keep certain data longer, for example for tax administration.

Processors and sub-processors

We engage carefully selected suppliers for, among other things, hosting, email and payment processing. We conclude data processing agreements with these parties. We make a current overview of sub-processors available on request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the data we process about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data.
  • Data portability, meaning receiving your data in a commonly used format.
  • Object to certain processing activities.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access control and regular backups.
