Wkb & quality assurance is a separate add-on (€79 per month) that you use alongside the Productie (Production) add-on. The Wkb is the Dutch Quality Assurance for Building Act. You find it in its own menu Wkb & Kwaliteitsborging (Wkb & quality assurance), directly below Productie (Production), which contains among other things the Kwaliteitsdashboard (Quality dashboard) and Controlelijsten (Checklists). Only an admin can manage checklists. The admin and workshop roles can record checks; drafters and planners can look along. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.
Setting up a checklist
- Go to Controlelijsten (Checklists). For a quick start, click Voorbeeldlijsten overnemen (Copy example lists): you get lists for an outer wall, inner wall, floor and roof that you then adjust. Or click Nieuwe controlelijst (New checklist).
- Fill in the Naam (Name), choose under Geldt voor (Applies to) which elements the list is for and optionally fill in Alleen als de groep bevat (Only if the group contains). Set the list to Actief (Active).
- Add the points under Controlepunten (Check points). Per point you choose the Controlemoment (Check moment), the Onderdeel (Part) and the Controlepunt (Check point), and whether it is Verplicht (Required), whether a Foto verplicht (Photo required) or a Meetwaarde verplicht (Measurement required). For a measurement you fill in the Eenheid (Unit), Tolerantie van (Tolerance from) and Tolerantie tot (Tolerance to). You can also add a Verantwoordelijke functie (Responsible role) and a Verwijzing (Reference).
The check moments follow production: before production starts, after making the timber frame, after fitting the structural sheathing, after insulating, after fitting the membranes, final check and release for transport. If your company has no active checklist, the production planning does not take quality checks into account.
Checking an element
- Open the element with the Kwaliteitsdossier (Quality file) button in the Productie (Production) tab of the project, from the quality dashboard or by scanning the QR code on the element.
- Click Kwaliteitsregistratie starten (Start quality registration).
- For every check point, click Goedgekeurd (Approved), Afgekeurd (Rejected) or N.v.t. (Not applicable). Foto (Photo) adds photos; on a phone the camera opens.
- If a measurement is needed, you fill in the Gemeten waarde (Measured value). Beamcore compares it with the tolerance.
- If you reject a point, you write down what is wrong. By default you create a deviation straight away, with its Ernst (Severity).
The points of a later check moment only open once the required points of the earlier moments are done. That way you do not skip a check.
Status and release
An element has one of these statuses: to be checked, being checked, rejected, recheck needed, ready for release, internally released or blocked. An admin releases an element with Intern vrijgeven (Release internally) and can undo that with Vrijgave intrekken (Withdraw release). Blokkeren (Block) and Blokkade opheffen (Lift block) hold an element back from production and transport. As long as a deviation is open, you cannot release internally.
Internally released means your own check is complete. It is not a statement from the independent quality assurer.
