Material certificates, batches and materials per project

Robin van Maasakker · 28 Oct 2026

Under Wkb & Kwaliteitsborging → Materiaalcertificaten (Wkb & quality assurance → Material certificates) you keep track of the materials you use, with their certificates, declarations of performance and product sheets and the batches delivered. Per project you record where they were used. An admin can manage them. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.

A material and its documents

  1. Click Materiaal toevoegen (Add material). Choose the Soort (Type: structural timber, sheet material, insulation, membranes, fasteners, fire-resistant materials or other) and fill in the Productnaam (Product name), optionally with manufacturer, product code and supplier.
  2. Click Document at the material. Choose the Bestand (File: PDF, Word, Excel or an image, at most 50 MB) and the Soort document (Document type): certificate, declaration of performance, product sheet or other document. Optionally fill in the number, the issue date and Geldig tot en met (Valid up to and including).
  3. Batch records a delivered batch with the Batch- of chargenummer (Batch or lot number), the supplier, the delivery date and the quantity. A document can apply to the whole material or Alleen voor batch (Only for batch).

A document is never overwritten. When a new version comes in, add it as a new document and withdraw the old one with Intrekken (Withdraw). The file and its history are kept. Historie (History) shows all changes to a material.

Linking materials to a project

  1. Choose the project and click Materiaal koppelen (Link material).
  2. Choose the Materiaal (Material) and optionally the Batch. Indicate where it was used: Toegepast in elementtype (Used in element type), Alleen in groep / productieserie (Only in group / production series) or Alleen deze elementen (Only these elements). Empty means everywhere.
  3. Under Vereist voor dit project (Required for this project), choose which documents must be present for this project.

The tiles show how many documents expire within 30 days, have expired or are missing. For each link you see that it is in order, or which document is missing or expired. A missing document is a warning in the file check; it does not hold back production. The materials appear in the quality file of each element and the documents are included in the ZIP of the project file.
