Reporting and fixing deviations

Robin van Maasakker · 22 Oct 2026

If something is wrong with an element, you record it as a deviation. You find them under Wkb & Kwaliteitsborging → Afwijkingen & herstel (Wkb & quality assurance → Deviations & repair). A deviation is created automatically when you reject a point during a check, but you can also report one separately. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.

Reporting a deviation

  1. Click Afwijking melden (Report deviation).
  2. Fill in a Korte titel (Short title) and an Omschrijving (Description). Optionally link the Controlepunt (Check point) and add Foto's (Photos).
  3. Choose the Ernst (Severity): minor, serious or critical, and save.

Arranging the repair

  1. Verdelen en plannen (Assign and plan) lets you choose the Verantwoordelijke (Responsible person), the Hersteltermijn (Repair deadline) and the Herstelactie (Repair action).
  2. Whoever picks it up clicks In behandeling nemen (Take on) or Herstel gepland (Repair planned).
  3. Once repaired, click Herstel melden (Report repair) and write down what was repaired. Foto toevoegen (Add photo) records the result.
  4. Click Hercontrole aanvragen (Request recheck). After the recheck, choose Hercontrole goedkeuren (Approve recheck) or Hercontrole afkeuren (Reject recheck).

A deviation only closes after an approved recheck. If it is serious, hold the element back with Element blokkeren (Block element).

Statuses

A deviation goes through the statuses new, in progress, repair planned, repaired, waiting for recheck and closed. As long as a deviation is open, the element cannot be released internally.
