A released composition goes through the rest of the work as one whole. Below you read what that means for the factory, transport and assembly. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.
The production task Samenstellen
Every released composition gets the production task Samenstellen (Assemble). You find it with the composition in the Samenstellingen (Compositions) tab, and in the Samenstellen block below the production planning and in the factory. As long as an element is not finished in the production planning, the task is waiting. After that it is ready to be assembled.
- Click Start. In the production planning you first choose a table.
- Pauze (Pause) and Hervatten (Resume) keep track of the active time. Gereed (Done) means the composition is assembled.
- Then click Gecontroleerd (Checked) and finally Transportgereed (Ready for transport).
Under Nacalculatie (Post-calculation) you see the time of the elements and the assembly time separately, so nothing counts twice. Begroting wijzigen (Change budget) records a budgeted assembly time. If you have the Wkb & Kwaliteitsborging (Quality assurance) add-on, Samenstellingscontrole (Composition check) opens the quality file of the composition.
Transport
In the load planner, a released composition is one line, for example SE-001, instead of separate elements. The weight is the sum of the elements. In 3D you see all elements in their real position. You cannot put an element of a composition on a transport by itself. Loading is only possible once the composition is Transportgereed (Ready for transport). As long as a composition is on a transport, you cannot change or delete it.
Assembly
A composition is assembled in the first step of the construction order that contains one of its elements. Elements in a later step get the sentence that they come along with the composition. That way they are not assembled separately again.
- In the Montage (Assembly) tab and in the Montage → Montagetekeningen (Assembly → Assembly drawings) menu, each step has the Samenstellingen (Compositions) block. You see the elements, the step in which the composition is assembled as a whole, the transport, the expected delivery and the status.
- With Werktekening en 3D (Work drawing and 3D), the assembly crew opens the work drawing of the composition, also if the company only has the Montage (Assembly) add-on.
- The Montageplanning (Assembly planning) shows for a step which composition is assembled in it as a whole. If all elements of a step already come along with a composition from an earlier step, it says Geen eigen montagewerk (No own assembly work).
