The assembly crew works in the Montage → Montagetekeningen (Assembly → Assembly drawings) menu. It only shows the steps that work preparation has released. Give a crew member the montage (assembly) role: they then see only this menu and nothing else of your projects. The view also works in the Beamcore app. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.
Opening a step
- Choose the project. Each project shows how many steps are ready and when something was last released.
- Choose the step. You see the number, the name, the number of parts and when it was released.
- Browse through the construction order with Vorige stap (Previous step) and Volgende stap (Next step). PDF deze stap (PDF this step) downloads the sheet.
Below the drawing is the list Onderdelen in deze stap (Parts in this step). If work preparation already has a newer version, you see the message that a newer version is in work preparation; you then still work with the released version.
Drawing, measuring and 3D
- All dimensions are in millimetres from the intersection of grid lines A and 1.
- With Meten (Measure) you check a dimension yourself; Beamcore snaps to corners and edges. Shift keeps the measurement square, Esc stops.
- The 3D model shows the building up to and including this step. Drag to rotate, scroll to zoom. Volledig scherm 3D (Full screen 3D) enlarges the model, 3D verkleinen (Shrink 3D) puts it back.
- Click an element to see which elements connect to it.
