The Tekeningen menu: versions and feedback

Robin van Maasakker · 13 Oct 2026

Under Capaciteit → Tekeningen (Capacity → Drawings) there is an overview of DWG drawings across all your projects. For each drawing you keep track of versions and collect feedback. This overview is separate from the files under Documenten (Documents) in a project: a drawing you upload here does not appear there, and vice versa. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.

Who sees what

The menu is intended for your own team. Users with the role admin see all drawings of the company. Users with the role tekenaar (draughtsman) only see the drawings of projects they are linked to. For other roles the list stays empty.

Adding a drawing

  1. Go to Capaciteit → Tekeningen and click the button at the top right to create a drawing.
  2. Leave Startpunt (Starting point) on Bestand uploaden (Upload file).
  3. Choose the Project.
  4. Add your drawing under DWG-bestand (DWG file). Only DWG files are accepted, up to 1 GB.
  5. Optionally add Tags and save.

The name of the drawing is derived from the file name. Hyphens and underscores become spaces. You change the name later on the edit page. Creating requires the permission Nieuwe tekening aanmaken (Create new drawing), by default for admin and tekenaar.

Using the overview

  • With the star you put a drawing at the top of the list.
  • Filter by Project or Tag.
  • Bekijk tekening (View drawing) opens the current version in the window DWG voorvertoning (DWG preview), with the link Download DWG.
  • Openen (Open) takes you to the detail page with the tabs Versies (Versions) and Feedback.

Uploading a new version

  1. Open the edit page of the drawing.
  2. Click Upload nieuwe versie (Upload new version).
  3. Choose the DWG file and briefly describe under Samenvatting wijzigingen (Summary of changes) what has changed.
  4. Confirm. You see the message Versie geüpload (Version uploaded).

If the project is locked, you cannot edit the drawing and therefore cannot add a version.

The Versies tab

All versions are listed here, the latest at the top. For each version you see the number, who uploaded it, the summary under Wijziging (Change), the size and the time of uploading. The current version has a green number. With Bekijk tekening you open exactly that version. Versions cannot be changed.

Comparing versions

Select exactly two versions and choose Vergelijk versies (Compare versions). You get a table with both versions side by side. Rows that differ are highlighted.

Important: the comparison is about the data of the versions, such as file name, file size and upload time. The content of the drawings is not compared. So you do not see which lines or parts have been changed. Use the summary you fill in when uploading for that.

The Feedback tab

  1. Click Feedback achterlaten (Leave feedback).
  2. Under Op welke versie (On which version), choose the version your comment is about.
  3. Type your Opmerking (Comment) and save.

With Markeer opgelost (Mark as resolved) you close a point, with Heropenen (Reopen) you put it back. The filter Opgelost (Resolved) helps with finding open points. Placing feedback requires the permission Feedback achterlaten. Resolving and reopening requires Feedback markeren als opgelost (Mark feedback as resolved). Within the team, by default the role admin has both permissions and the role tekenaar only the second.

Downloading drawings as a ZIP

Tick the drawings in the overview and choose the bulk action ZIP downloaden (Download ZIP). The ZIP contains only the current version of each selected drawing.
