In the Productie → Productie (Production → Production) menu the factory only sees the elements that work preparation has released. Give someone on the shop floor the werkplaats (workshop) role: they then see the factory view and the production progress, but not your projects. There must be active production tables; the planner creates them under Productie → Productietafels (Production → Production tables). The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.
Opening an element
- Choose the project. You see the released elements with number, type, group, revision and the table they are open on.
- Click an element. Beamcore asks Op welke tafel maak je element ...? (On which table are you making element ...?). Choose the table. The table the element is planned on and your last table are highlighted.
- The element is now open on that table. An element can only be open on one table at a time. If it is already open on another table, you see by whom. A planner can remove it there with Vrijgeven (Release).
Working with the element
- At the top you choose the step with Zone: first the frame, then the inner zones and the outer zones in the order in which you make them. The drawing and the 3D build-up follow the step.
- The drawing and the 3D model are on screen together. Volledig scherm (Full screen) and Volledig scherm 3D (Full screen 3D) enlarge them.
- Under Doorsnedes (Sections) you see the connections on the left, right, top and bottom. Under Materiaallijst (Material list) are the list of the zone, the Balkenlijst (Beam list), the Platenlijst (Sheet list) and Details.
- Notes from work preparation are shown above the drawing.
- Export PDF downloads the drawing, IFC the model.
Closing the element
When you are done, click Element sluiten (Close element). Another table can then open it. Volgend element (Next element) immediately opens the next element on the same table. If work preparation already has a newer version, you see a message; the factory works with the released version.
