Setting loading days and storage capacity

Robin van Maasakker · 29 Oct 2026

Beamcore plans back from the delivery date to work out when an element must be loaded and ready at the latest. If you only load on fixed days, or have little space to put finished elements, record that. This is part of the Productie (Production) add-on. An admin can change the settings. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.

Settings

Go to Bedrijf → Bedrijfsinstellingen (Company → Company settings), tab Productie (Production), block Levering en transport (Delivery and transport):

  • Werkdagen tussen gereed en laden (Working days between ready and loading): time for the quality check and preparing. Default 1.
  • Laden, werkdagen voor de leverdatum (Loading, working days before the delivery date): 0 means loading on the day of delivery. Default 0.
  • Laadmomenten: op deze dagen wordt geladen (Loading moments: loading takes place on these days): tick the days on which you load. Nothing ticked means every working day.
  • Opslag: plek voor gereed staande elementen (Storage: space for finished elements): the number of elements you can store. Empty means no limit.

How the loading days work

If the loading day falls on a day when you do not load, Beamcore moves loading to the loading day before it. For example, if you only load on Tuesday and Thursday and the delivery is on Monday, loading takes place on the Thursday before. The ready-by date is calculated back from that loading day. Days off do not count as loading days. In the Productieplanning (Production planning), view Transport en montage (Transport and assembly), the text above the projects explains how Beamcore calculates, including the loading days.

Keeping an eye on storage

The Transport en montage (Transport and assembly) view shows the tile Gereed in opslag (Finished in storage). It shows how many elements are there now. If you have filled in a storage capacity, you see that against the space you have. Below it is the count per working day for the next two weeks. An element counts from the day it is finished or planned until it is loaded. This applies to all projects together.

If it gets too full, that day turns red and you see from which day storage is too full. Load earlier then, or plan production later. Beamcore does not move anything by itself.
