Logging hours in Mijn uren (My hours)

Robin van Maasakker · 13 Oct 2026

On the Urenregistratie → Mijn uren (Time tracking → My hours) page you log the hours you worked and see what you have recorded per week or per month. You enter hours yourself: you choose a day, a project or category and the number of hours. Time tracking is an add-on of €29 per month; you see the page if your company has the add-on and you have the Uren boeken (Log hours) permission. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.

Logging hours

  1. Click Uren boeken at the top right, or click + boeken (+ log) next to a day in the weekly overview to have that day filled in already.
  2. Under Boeken op (Log to), choose Project or Categorie (los van project) (Category, separate from a project). You only see this choice if your company has set up hour categories.
  3. Choose the Datum (Date).
  4. For a project: choose the Project and optionally an Onderdeel (Part). If you leave the part empty, you log directly to the project. For a category: choose the Categorie (Category).
  5. Enter the number of hours under Uren (Hours). This goes in steps of a quarter of an hour, with a minimum of 0.25 hours.
  6. Optionally enter an Omschrijving (Description) and click Boeken (Log).

The project list contains the projects you have access to. Projects with the status Afgerond (Completed) or Gearchiveerd (Archived) cannot be selected.

Week and month view

The overview shows a project or category per row and a day per column, with totals per day and per row. Above the overview are tiles with your total number of hours, the number of projects, the number of days with hours and your busiest day.

  • Use Vorige (Previous), Deze week (This week) and Volgende (Next) to browse through the weeks.
  • Use the Week / Maand (Week / Month) switch to change the period. In the month view each column is a week.
  • Click a day or a number to see only the entries of that day below the overview. Click once more to show the whole week again.

Editing or deleting hours

In the list Boekingen in deze week (Entries in this week) below the overview, each entry has Wijzigen (Edit) and Verwijderen (Delete). When editing you change the date, the hours, the part or the category and the description. The project itself cannot be changed: in that case delete the entry and log it again.

Editing and deleting is only possible for entries in the current week (Monday to Sunday). For older entries you do not see the buttons. An owner and users with the Uren van anderen bewerken/verwijderen (Edit/delete other people's hours) permission can also change older weeks.

Past and future weeks

You can log hours in the current week and afterwards in earlier weeks. You cannot log in a week that has yet to begin: you then get the message "Je kunt geen uren in een toekomstige week boeken." (You cannot log hours in a future week.) This restriction does not apply to an owner or to someone who manages the team's hours.

Logging from a planning part

You can also log directly from a project. Open the project, go to the Planning tab and choose the action Uren boeken for a part in Planning onderdelen (Planning parts). You only enter Uren, Datum and optionally an Omschrijving; the project and the part are already selected. The entry then also appears in Mijn uren.

Hour categories

Not all hours belong to a project. For things like administration or internal meetings your company can create categories. You set these up under Bedrijf → Bedrijfsinstellingen (Company → Company settings) on the Urenregistratie tab. You can read more about this in Team hours, hour categories and approval settings.

Submitted and approved weeks

If your company works with the approval procedure, you see an Urenstaat (Timesheet) block above the overview with the status of the week. As soon as you have submitted a week or the week has been approved, the entries are locked and you can no longer log or change anything in that week. How this works is explained in Submitting a week for approval.
