Production progress on the shop floor

Robin van Maasakker · 22 Oct 2026

Under Productie → Productievoortgang (Production → Production progress) the shop floor sees which elements are ready and everyone keeps track of how the work is going. The buttons are large, so it also works on a tablet at the table. The admin, planner and workshop roles can start, pause and finish elements. A drafter can look along. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.

The overview

At the top you see tiles for Nog te doen (To do), In productie (In production), Gereed (Finished), Geblokkeerd of afgekeurd (Blocked or rejected) and Achter op planning (Behind schedule). Filter with Alleen mijn werk (Only my work), by Tafel (Table) or with Zoeken (Search).

Making an element

  1. Click Starten (Start) on the element you begin with. Its status becomes in production.
  2. Need to stop for a while? Click Pauze (Pause). Hervatten (Resume) continues.
  3. Done? Click Gereed (Finished). If quality checks are still open, Beamcore asks whether you want to report it finished anyway (Toch gereed melden, Report finished anyway).

Drawing and instructions

Details opens the element. You see the production drawing per zone, with PDF deze zone (PDF this zone) and PDF alle zones (PDF all zones), the Instructies van de werkvoorbereiding (Instructions from work preparation) and a Kwaliteit (Quality) block. Under Opmerkingen (Comments) you add a comment to the element with Plaatsen (Post). From here you can also use Gereed melden (Report finished) or Status wijzigen (Change status).

Reporting a problem

  1. Open the element with Details and click Probleem melden (Report problem).
  2. Under Wat is er aan de hand? (What is wrong?) choose missing material, drawing error, broken machine or other, and write a Toelichting (Explanation).
  3. Click Melden (Report). The element is blocked, so the planner sees that something needs to be done.
