Rechecks after a new revision, marking up photos and production phases

Robin van Maasakker · 28 Oct 2026

A few parts of Wkb & quality assurance help you keep the checks up to date and clear. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.

Recheck after a new drawing revision

When you process a new revision of the IFC model and an element has changed in it, the element gets the status Hercontrole nodig (Recheck needed). In the element's quality file you see the message Nieuwe tekeningrevisie: hercontrole nodig (New drawing revision: recheck needed) with what has changed and which points must be redone. Each point shows the revision it was checked against. The old answers and photos are kept.

Check the points again, or as an admin record that it is not needed with Geen hercontrole nodig (No recheck needed) and a reason. As long as a recheck is open, you cannot release the element for transport. If an element has not changed, its checks simply remain valid.

Markings on photos

Click a photo in the quality file or at a deviation to open it. With Pijl (Arrow), Lijn (Line), Kader (Box), Cirkel (Circle), Vrij tekenen (Freehand) and Tekst (Text) you put markings on the photo, in one of the colours. Optionally fill in a comment and click Opslaan (Save). Ongedaan maken (Undo) and Alles wissen (Clear all) fix mistakes, and Origineel (Original) shows the photo without markings.

The photo itself is never changed: the markings lie on top of it and every saved version is kept. A marked-up photo has the label marked and is included with its markings in the ZIP of the file.

Adjusting production phases

Under Controlelijsten (Checklists), click Productiefasen (Production phases) to adjust the check moments to your own production. You can rename a phase, move it, switch it off with Aan (On), or add your own phase with Eigen fase toevoegen (Add custom phase). Release for transport always comes last. A change applies to new inspections; ongoing inspections keep their phases.

Notifications and the daily overview

Admins get a notification for a rejected point, a new deviation, a message from the quality assurer and when rechecks are needed after a new revision. Whoever is assigned a deviation also gets a notification. On working days at 07:30 the overview Kwaliteit: overzicht van vandaag (Quality: today's overview) arrives, with open checks, missing photos, elements waiting for release, repair deadlines and missing documents. If nothing is open, no email is sent.
