How the production drawing ends up on paper is set for the whole company, per element type or per project. An admin can do this. In addition, everyone chooses for themselves how the drawing and the 3D model open on screen. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.
The drawing sheet for the company
Go to Bedrijf → Bedrijfsinstellingen (Company → Company settings), tab Productie (Production), block Tekenblad (Drawing sheet):
- Papierformaat (Paper size): A4, A3 (default), A2 or A1. The sheet is scaled down or up in the PDF.
- Liggend of staand (Landscape or portrait): portrait is handy for tall elements such as gables.
- Minimale teksthoogte op papier (Minimum text height on paper): 1.8 mm by default.
- Voorkeursschaal vergrote details (Preferred scale for enlarged details) and Drukke zones vergroot op een apart detailblad (Busy zones enlarged on a separate detail sheet). The detail sheet is off by default: everything is then on one sheet.
- Maximaal aantal regels onderdelenlijst per blad (Maximum number of parts list lines per sheet): more lines continue on a follow-up sheet.
- Aansluitdetails van het frameblad (Connection details of the frame sheet): below the drawing, always on a separate sheet, or on a separate sheet if the drawing would otherwise become too small.
Under Afwijkend per soort element (Different per element type) you add other settings, for example for roofs or floors, with Regel per soort toevoegen (Add rule per type).
A separate drawing sheet for one project
In the Productie (Production) tab of the project you see the line Tekenblad (Drawing sheet). Click it, switch on Eigen instellingen voor dit project (Own settings for this project) and choose the same settings. A project with its own settings takes precedence over the rules per type and over the company.
My preferences
With Mijn voorkeuren (My preferences) in the Production tab or on the factory screen you choose only for yourself:
- which view the Production tab opens in (3D, Drawing or 2D + 3D);
- which drawing mode the drawing opens in (Overview, Production or Detail check);
- whether the 3D model opens with position numbers and with wood grain.
Your preferences only change what you see on screen, never the sheet or the PDF.
