Beamcore lays out the production drawing itself, but work preparation can adjust it. You do this in the Productie (Production) tab of the project, in the bar above the drawing. The admin and drafter roles can do this, and only on the current revision. What you adjust belongs to the element number and the zone and stays in place when you process a new revision of the model. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.
A note for the factory
Click Tekst toevoegen (Add text) and fill in the Tekst voor de fabriek (Text for the factory, at most 500 characters). The text appears as a note from work preparation on the drawing of this zone, on the PDF and on the factory screen. Tekst wijzigen (Edit text) changes it; if you leave the field empty, it disappears.
Text with an arrow in a place of your choice
- Click Tekst plaatsen (Place text).
- Click on the drawing where the text goes and then on the point the arrow points to. Press Enter for a text without an arrow, or Esc to stop.
- Fill in the Tekst (Text) and click Plaatsen (Place).
Under Teksten op de tekening (Texts on the drawing) you can Wijzigen (Edit) a text, remove the arrow or Verwijderen (Delete) it.
Moving position numbers and dimension lines
- Nummer verplaatsen (Move number): click a position number and then the new spot. The number is then locked in that spot. Under Vergrendelde positienummers (Locked position numbers) you put it back with Ontgrendelen (Unlock) or Alles ontgrendelen (Unlock all). If a lock no longer matches the model, this is shown next to it.
- Maatlijn verplaatsen (Move dimension line): click a dimension line below or next to the front view and then the new spot, further out. Under Verplaatste maatlijnen (Moved dimension lines) you put it back with Terugzetten (Restore).
Enlarged details
If the detail sheet is switched on in the sheet settings, Beamcore enlarges busy parts of the dimensioning as a detail. Under Vergrote details (Enlarged details) you choose the enlargement per detail (1:20, 1:10, 1:5 or 1:2), put it on its Eigen blad (Own sheet) or remove it with Weghalen (Remove). Terugzetten (Restore) brings back a removed detail.
