In the assembly planning you schedule the assembly steps per project: when a step is assembled and by whom. You find it in the Montage → Montageplanning (Assembly → Assembly planning) menu. You need the Montage (Assembly) add-on. The admin, drafter and planner roles can see the planning. The admin and drafter roles can schedule and change it. The assembly crew itself does not see this page. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.
The bar planning
The planning is a bar planning in calendar days. There is a row for the Eigen montageploeg (Own assembly crew) and a row per active assembly company. Each scheduled step is a bar with project, step, period and status. Use the arrows and Deze week (This week) to move through the weeks. Under Periode (Period) you choose 2, 4, 8 or 12 weeks. Wie (Who) and Project filter the planning.
- The colour of a bar follows the status: Ingepland (Scheduled), Bezig (In progress) or Gereed (Done).
- Weekends are lightly coloured. Days off of the company are light grey (Bedrijf vrij, company closed). A red line marks today.
Scheduling a step
Below the planning is Nog in te plannen (Still to schedule): per project the assembly steps that do not have a place yet. There are three ways to schedule:
- Drag a step from Nog in te plannen (Still to schedule) onto a day in the row of the crew that assembles it. The step then takes one day. Stretch the bar afterwards.
- Click a step, + inplannen (+ schedule) next to a crew, or the Inplannen (Schedule) button at the top. Choose Project, Montagestap (Assembly step), Wie monteert (Who assembles), Van (From) and Tot en met (Up to and including), and optionally a Notitie (Note).
- Drag a scheduled bar to other days. Pull the left or right edge to make the step shorter or longer. A step takes 60 days at most.
Click a bar to change it or adjust the Status. In the list In deze periode (In this period) you change the status directly, or remove a step with Uit planning (Remove from planning).
Linked to production
If you also have the Productie (Production) add-on, the planning looks at the production planning of the elements in a step. A step can only start on the day after production is finished. The step shows, for example, "Vroegst 12-11 (productie klaar 11-11)" (earliest 12-11, production finished 11-11), with a red dashed line in the bar planning. A bar that is too early turns red. If an element of the step is not yet in the production planning, you cannot schedule the step yet.
Assembly companies
You record external assembly companies in the Montage → Montagebedrijven (Assembly → Assembly companies) menu with Nieuw montagebedrijf (New assembly company). Fill in the details, choose the Gebruikers van dit montagebedrijf (Users of this assembly company) and choose per project Alle klaargezette stappen (All released steps) or Alleen deze stappen (Only these steps). You invite new users under Users with the montage (assembly) role.
- An assembly company only sees its own projects and steps, and a step only once it has been released for assembly.
- If you schedule a step for an assembly company, it gets access to the drawing of that step. If you remove the step from the planning, that access stays. You change it under Montagebedrijven (Assembly companies).
- Turn off Actief (Active) to close the access. An inactive assembly company no longer sees anything in the Assembly menu and cannot be newly scheduled.
