In Transport → Beladingsplanner (Load planner), you divide the elements of a project over transports. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation. Choose the project at the top. You see three columns: on the left the elements, in the middle Belading bekijken (View load) with the 3D view, and on the right Snel toegang (Quick access) and the Transportoverzicht (Transport overview). On a tablet or phone, switch with the tabs Elementen (Elements), 3D-belading (3D load) and Transporten (Transports).
The element list
On the left are all elements of the project with their dimensions, estimated weight, production status and the transport they are on. Search by element number, type or group, or open Filters for the production status, the transport status (for example Nog niet ingedeeld, Not yet assigned) and the group. Click an element number for the details.
The weight is an estimate from the dimensions and materials in the IFC model. It is not a weighed weight.
Creating and filling a transport
- On the right, click Transport toevoegen (Add transport). Under Hoe laden (How to load), choose whether you load with racks, or without racks flat on top of each other on the load floor. Optionally enter a Omschrijving (Description), the Vrachtwagen (Truck), the Transportnummer of rit (Transport number or trip) and the Transportdatum (Transport date).
- In the Transportacties (Transport actions) menu, choose Bok of laadvloer toevoegen (Add rack or load floor) and pick a transport rack, or "Zonder bok" (Without rack) for the load floor.
- Tick elements in the list, choose a rack and a side, and click the button to put them on the transport. You can also drag an element from the list onto a rack in the 3D view.
An element is always on at most one transport.
The load in 3D and 2D
Switch views with 3D and 2D. In 3D you see the truck, the racks and the elements with their shape from the IFC model. Click an element for its dimensions, weight and warnings, with the buttons Draaien (Rotate), Eerder laden (Load earlier), Later laden (Load later) and Van de bok (Off the rack). Move an element by dragging it along the rack. On a tablet, hold the element for a moment first.
Below the 3D view are the views Reset weergave (Reset view), Links (Left), Rechts (Right), Boven (Top) and Achter (Back). Transparant (Transparent) lets you look through the load and Volledig scherm (Full screen) gives the load the whole screen. Click a rack card to highlight that rack in 3D; there you also find Bewerken in 2D (Edit in 2D) and Van transport halen (Remove from transport).
Checks, order and technical data
Below the load are three panels:
- Controles (Checks): the Veiligheidscontrole (Safety check) of the transport and all warnings per topic, marked Kritiek (Critical) or Aandacht (Attention) with an action. Meer informatie (More information) shows the full messages. The Controlelijst ladingzekering (Load securing checklist) is here too.
- Montage- en losvolgorde (Assembly and unloading order): the order in which the elements come off the truck on site, and whether that follows the assembly order. Simuleer lossen (Simulate unloading) walks you through unloading step by step in 3D. With Montagevolgorde voorstellen (Suggest assembly order) in the Transport actions menu, Beamcore puts the elements in the construction order of the Assembly tab.
- Technische gegevens (Technical data): weight, dimensions, axle loads, weight per rack, the weight distribution left and right, and the centre of gravity.
Beamcore only checks the dimensions and weights you entered. A load plan that fits is therefore not automatically safe or legally allowed. Always check stability, support, centre of gravity, axle loads and load securing yourself.
Making it final
If the transport is right, click Definitief maken (Make final). If the transport has critical blockers, first confirm that you had them checked physically. You can only change a final transport again with Weer op concept (Back to draft) in the Transport actions menu. There you also find Laadlijst openen (Open loading list) and Transportdocument downloaden (Download transport document).
Alle transporten verwijderen (Delete all transports) removes all transports of the project that are not final yet, together with the variants. The planner then starts over.
