The dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It consists of separate blocks, the widgets, in a grid of four columns. An owner decides which widgets are visible, in which order they appear and how wide they are. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.
Who can change the dashboard
Only an owner of the company sees the Dashboard aanpassen (Customise dashboard) button. The layout is saved per company and so applies to all users of that company, not just to you. Other users cannot change the layout.
Changing the layout
- Open the dashboard and click Dashboard aanpassen.
- A bar with the name of the widget appears above each widget. Drag a widget by the handle on the left of that bar to another place to change the order.
- Choose the width in the dropdown: 1, 2, 3 or Vol (Full). That is the number of columns the widget takes up.
- Click the eye icon to hide a widget or show it again. Hidden widgets stay visible but faded in this mode, so you can switch them back on later.
- Click Klaar (Done) to close edit mode.
Every change is saved immediately. So you do not need to save separately. If you want to go back to the original layout, click Standaard herstellen (Restore default) in edit mode.
Which widgets there are
These widgets are part of the standard portal:
- Projecten - kerncijfers (Projects - key figures)
- Abonnement - verbruik (Subscription - usage): only visible to owners.
- Opslag - verbruik (Storage - usage): only visible to owners.
- Openstaande acties (Open actions)
- Planning - alle projecten (Planning - all projects)
- Recente activiteit (Recent activity)
With the Offertes & Facturatie (Quotes & Invoicing) add-on, these widgets are added:
- Offertes - kerncijfers (Quotes - key figures)
- Offertes per status (Quotes by status)
- Offertewaarde per maand (Quote value per month)
- Top-klanten (offertes) (Top customers, quotes)
- Facturatie - kerncijfers (Invoicing - key figures)
- Omzet per maand (Revenue per month)
With the Houtvoorraad (Timber stock) add-on there are three extra widgets:
- Houtvoorraad - kerncijfers (Timber stock - key figures)
- Houtvoorraad - aanvullen (Timber stock - replenish)
- Houtvoorraad - materiaal per project (Timber stock - material per project)
What a user ends up seeing
A widget only appears if two things are true: the owner has not hidden it, and the user has the permissions to see its content. For example, someone without permission for quotes does not see the quote widgets, even if they are switched on. The usage widgets for subscription and storage remain for owners. As a result the dashboard can look different per user, while the layout is the same for the whole company.
If, as an owner, you do not see a widget in edit mode, it belongs to an add-on your company does not have.
