Working with the independent quality assurer

Robin van Maasakker · 28 Oct 2026

The independent quality assurer can view the quality files of their projects in Beamcore and record comments, requests for additional evidence and assessments there. What they record is separate from your own internal release: an assessment never changes the status or the release of an element. The Beamcore interface is in Dutch, so button and menu names are shown in Dutch with a translation.

Giving the quality assurer access

  1. Invite the quality assurer as a user and give them the kwaliteitsborger (quality assurer) role.
  2. Link them to the project in the Gekoppelde gebruikers (Linked users) tab. They only see the projects they are linked to.

The quality assurer only sees Kwaliteitsdossiers (Quality files) and the quality file per element, without being able to change anything. A download of the file always uses the quality assurer profile, with photos, drawings and evidence.

Comments, evidence requests and assessments

In the project file or at an element, the quality assurer clicks Opmerking, verzoek of beoordeling (Comment, request or assessment) and chooses the Soort (Type): comment, request for additional evidence or quality assurer assessment. An assessment is approved, approved with comments or not approved. They can choose a check point and a date by which they would like to receive the evidence.

  1. When you receive an evidence request, the admins get a notification. Click Beantwoorden met bewijs (Answer with evidence), write a Reactie (Reply) and optionally add a file.
  2. The request then has the status answered. If the quality assurer replies again, it opens again.
  3. Once they are satisfied, they close the request with Afsluiten (Close).

Open evidence requests appear as a warning in the file check. Everything the quality assurer records also appears in the quality file and is never changed or deleted.
